Managed to get it this morning... last time I tried I was on a fast - not recommended for concentration. The other thing which helped was a bright light. Trying to do something tricky like this in the dark doesn't have a lot to recommend it. So the Master Cylinder is bled as far as the joint at the rear of the cylinder and there is some pedal already which surprised me a little. Just waiting for No1 son to get home so he can do some pedal pushing and fluid replacement so I can get to the wheel cylinders. I've left the booster disconnected at the front end whilst bleeding the brakes as it's easier to push the brake pedal without it.
