And the P-51
I did find it very unnerving when the planes would be turning towards us and starting their run in. I knew they had no ammunition but it sure put some fear into me. I don't no how anyone who had the comming at them for real coudl have ever have taken it. It really gave me a heck of a lot of respect for those that were there for real and endured this on a daily basis.
