Default Photo!!

The friendly French buyer of the photo Jean-François ANTOINA [antoinajf@tele2.fr] very kindly sent me a 3.6MB scanned version of the photo! Quelle un gentilhomme!

The front number plate seems to have a reversed letters 'GC'. Does that mean anything to anyone? Seems as though it has been turned volte-face. There are of course two truck in the background..one has 'PASS' in white on the left of the tailgate.

A small bit of history to finish: apart from the two Ford-Scammell and Chevrolet-Scammell 6 x 4s there was also one-off Dennis-Scammell and Bedford-Scammell FATs that were trialled by the War Department in 1937-8. I believe that I may have found a photo of one of these in the Bovington collection and am therefore requesting a copy.
