Default C60X

Hi Ryan:

As a CMP owner and driver I'd stick with the modern vehicle as Hanno has suggested. My C60X has complicated vacuum assisted brakes that need frequent servicing to keep in order and she is a thirsty old girl who tops out at 40 mph.

I drove a F60 LAAT from Chicago to Ottawa (four days) back in 1993 and I'll never repeat the adventure... had a blast but my back is now 12 years older and, as a Gunner for 30 years, I need to protect what is left of my hearing!

I still enjoy short runs in the local area but will go with a float for long moves of my CMPs both to save the old girls from wear and tear and for the sake of my back/hearing.

Mike
