Dear MLU friends,
I am aware that some of you are not on the FB MLU site, so I am posting this message on here. There are still some small details to address (where the devil is), but after 14 years, my HUP restoration finally concluded last Friday. I have obtained the Dutch registration and roadworthiness certification. When I reviewed my documents, I realized that I had purchased my HUP in 2011 without fully knowing what I got myself into. It is with deep admiration for this forum and the MLU community that I want to express a warm thank you to all of you who have supported me along the way. The list of people that I hope to call friends by now is too long to mention individually, but you all contributed to motivate me to continue the build in good and bad times... and boy, it was tough sometimes. The MLU community is very much alive, as I noticed again last June in Normandy at the vehicle meet. I thank you all for letting me be a part of it. Many many thanks for all you have done Pieter Bergman |
