Grant,

LWD parts lists the part number of the Fox
Sieve , inner fuel tank as 7427D36 (I suspect that the D might actually be a number to conform with GMs part numbering system).

Does that number or description appear in your Fox parts list?

My impression of the image is that it could be a fuel pickup tube filter rather than a tank filler neck strainer.
