Hi Bob,

Yes b/w period photos would suggest base coat colour, seems a shame to paint now I've cleaned up the brass.

My seats have an 38mm thk timber base for the sliders to mount. I've only fixed them temporary for moving the truck around the yard. I haven't done a trip to test just how uncomfortable the driving position is.

I'm on the last 10% of the build and I have to admit its the hardest slog. I'll post some pictures once I got more to boost about.
