Your cellphone adds some coding which says which side goes up, based on how your cellphone camera was held. Even though you rotate the photo on your album, the coding is still there. You have to move the photo to an editor, rotate it, then save it. Then the coding will be gone.
By the way, I am a computer illiterate. But I am persistent, and also have a friend named google. When I was overseas, I had to play with excel sheets, and found problems when I would have to add rows. I figured that out myself, and eventually had the section clerk ask me about the same problem. I gave her the same answer I always give anyone who asks me about a computer problem: If you are asking me about a computer problem, then you really have a problem.
