Hi Jack,
As well as the armour rear panel with louvres in it, there is another set of deflectors between it and the radiator. The attached is from the parts book and may help you.
No's 32 and 33 bolt either side of the rad and the louvres 37 to 42 bolt to these side pieces.
I have taken a rad out of one of these, but it was nearly 20 years ago!
