Rob: Yes, in the context of the OP's post, yeah I refer to the "Milverado".
I agree that somehow or another MILCOTS became regularly known as the Chev, although I again agree that it is a widely used acronym for all sorts of DND procured items. Matter of fact, my 404s show the qual as MILCOTS for the Silverado.
