Default British versions?

I keep thinking that the post-war rebuilds that I have photos of used the Scammell fifth wheel as used on Bedfords, and which would be readily available. Until I saw the photo of the C15A from Takoradi I had never seen a Chevrolet semi-tractor in British service. However I have to correct this! It seems that they also used a fixed-pin design as well similar to the Australian system, and also the F60T.

I forgot to ask whether the Aussie Ford and Chev fifth-wheel conversions used the same design, and who designed/produced it?
