Nice Marcel, I have yet to start my two carriers.
You can use an old wood saw for the spring steel.
Good luck and keep posting.

Yes Marcel, three pieces, all the same width but different heights. In the picture they look bent, but are straight.

3 weeks ago i visit a military market here at the Netherlands and found a nice lot of carrier parts(the 2 red lead parts i recieve from Adrian Mamzer).
I had bought also a package of wooden strips what belongs at the edge of the upper hull of a MK1 carrier.
This weekend i open this package and found out that this wooden strips are signed with the year of manufacture and a CTL number.
The year of manufaturing 1942 what is on the wooden strips will be a nice match for my carrier.
Yesterday i start work on the Diff of my carrier, take off the front part of the Diff
what is between the Diff and the gearbox.
The seal what was on this part i had take a way because it was damaged/getting hard so it had a small oil leak.
So now i had to find a new seal what will be not so easy i think.

Cheers
Marcel
