Rick,
Great picture. Do you have any details about the unit and location? If I had to hazard a guess, I would opt for a New Zealand unit in Italy. Peter |

Guys,
Back home from a great trip out West, had a fine visit by Brian Gough, Barry Churcher and Mel Norwick. Networking with CMP enthusiasts is one of the benefits of taking on a restoration such as my Lynx. The CMP stories and tales certainly boost the motivation. While out West, my good friend, Doug Lavoie, shared some copies of the now expired magazine, Convoy. The attached picture and short article about this heavily modified Lynx certainly stoked my imagination. I would be very grateful should anyone have any additional information regarding this Lynx. In the back of my mind, I think Dirk purchased it from a Jim Rice.
Regards Rick.

Hanno, Bruce and Rick,
Thanks for your comments and pictures. I've been accused of being overly optimistic by more than one person, but to my uneducated eyes the pictures suggest two different Lynxes. The search goes on. We know that Dirk's Lynx found a great home, but who knows where the second lurks ?? Peter |

I think we all agree on this example, ex-Jim Rice, is the one that went to Dirk Leegwater in The Netherlands: Leegwater Lynx1.jpg I am with you on the one featured in Convoy magazine as a "wildflower" being a different example: Convoy Lynx 2015-12-28 12.02.12.jpg Apart from the fork lift(?) attachments, note how the sides below the "belt line" have been cut away, which was not done on Dirk's example. So the question remains indeed: where did the "Convoy wildflower" Lynx go? H.
