For reference a 6 pound package 12" x 12" X 12" sent from the Toronto area to Brazil by surface parcel post would cost about $105 by Canada Post.
Still a lot but better than UPS. I recently had a 50 lb. flywheel mailed from Missouri to Ontario by USPS. The postage was $180. (The part cost $50)
