Default CMP

The vehicle in question is a 15cwt with a General Service body. I believe it is a Chevrolet.

Default Didn't believe me, did you Brad? hehehe...

I TRIED to tell Brad that when we were AT the museum. I guess I could've taken you back to show you the data plate which would further prove my arguement. YES it's small....that's just how "big" they are. Mine's the exact same size, although the Jeep Trailer box I'm using will be a bit longer, but still visually almost identical.

Default Suprisingly small....

They are a suprisingly small truck indeed, esp. when one has memories of a deuce and a half when they think of an army truck. One of my buddies who is part of the unit, when hearing why I wanted to buy such a large vehicle, was suprised....shocked even when he finally saw just how small the truck really is. A C15A is almost more like a jeep on sterioids than a truck....sort of ;p....

Heck, a C60 is only another forty inches or so longer, which STILL isn't that big of a truck when you think about it. Very agile and fun to drive, and I'm suprised at how sharp my truck will turn...

Default Buy a Jeep?

Hey Brad,

Would I like to buy a Jeep? Hmmm, I'm feeling that you perhaps got the CMP bug maybe? Tell ya what, I'll trade my CMP for your Jeep...we can drive 'em each to a halfway point somewhere between us and exchange keys ;p....

I'd LOVE to buy a jeep...unfortunatly they cost about as much as a couple years of my mortgage payment, and unfortunatly they aren't as comfortable to sleep in after my wife kicks me out hehehe..... now, if you're selling one for CMP values, then I'd DEFINATLY take it!! hehehe...

I'm 6'6" and find the later CMP truck types (with the no. 13 cab) one of the roomiest WW2 trucks. I can't drive many WW2 vehicles, including the jeep, because my legs get in the way of the gear shift levers etc. But the 13 cab is no real problem.

If you are vertically challenged, the above might not be applicable to you. In that case, see below
