There are likely to be many variations in the construction of these although the basic specs will be identical. This is because DND passes the responsibility for plate manufacture to the vehicle supplier. I am not sure when this started but it forms part of the contract for the Iltis and Bombardier had to supply the plates, number them and affix them to the vehicles (in accordance with the vehicle CFR number) prior to delivery to DND.
