The mention of "1952" would be the packing date on the WD packaging. That is nothing to go by as this particular stock number was used throughout WW2as one application was Bedford lorries amongst other vehicles. Sometimes parts are repacked as well so do not be mislead by these dates. I know the Carrier would have had a suffix /41 and not /29 as the one shown, but beggars cannot be choosers. Better than sitting around waiting for an "original" one to come along, life is too short ![]()
