I made no mention of the Scout: I assumed (not having been the MCH Expert Examiner for some years now) that all was 'hunkie dory' with its export. Indeed, I've been contributing to a private email exchange about its history (with the current owner) for some time. My post was SIMPLY to ensure that the intending exporter of the carrier that is the subject of this thread was alerted to the MCH Act and the possible implications of not following that path. Not everyone, especially overseas, knows of its provisions. Better to know than get caught up in red tape. Mike C
