It certainly looks to be based on a British carrier. Lots wrong that would need sorting to get it back to MK1 spec but some nice bits too.

I understand that part of its "problem" is its quite a long way from any main transfer points for shipping, getting carriers loaded onto a truck or into a container and moved to port can get expensive quite quickly, you then have to pay to get it home. Once you get it here you have to pay customs and get it home. I can help a little from my experience with the Scout if needed.

I can't comment on the advert itself or its its real.
