I handed on a 10 shot Ruger semi auto .22 and received $200. With the money I bought a 1941Mauser 8mm 5 shot bolt action rifle for $180.

I disposed of a rabbit killer for a people killer.

The Ruger was depreciating ( but a good rifle), the Mauser is appreciating very much in value.
