Congratulations on your CMP and welcome to MLU!

At a guess I'd say you have a F15A there. The battery goes on the step on the driver's side. Usually there were data plates attached to the driver's door with VIN info, but if that is missing I'm not sure where it was stamped on Canadian built trucks, ours here in Australia were usually on the right chassis rail behind the engine mount. The engine number was also used as the VIN. It was stamped on the engine and often on the upper part of the gearbox above the inspection plate.
