Having made some inquiries and found some interesting facts for the Muleteers out there.
In Canada: Shell V-Power 91 is ethanol Free across Canada. Canadian Tire 91 is also ethanol Free across Canada. Alberta, Nova Scotia: all stations dispense ethanol-free gasoline. Some also dispense E10, a ethanol Blend, so check the pump. British Columbia: all 94-octane Chevron fuel is ethanol-free. Ontario: Co-Op gas has between 5 and 15% ethanol in most blends, not friendly to rubber etc. Hope this helps all, I will be sticking with Shell V-Power 91 I think for my Mule. How fast does bad gas deteriorate the tanks/pumps diaphrams etc? Has anyone experienced it after one tank or does it take repeated exposure? Is the first sign usually a clogged fuel filter? Could we see it in the gas if we drained some from the tank?(Deteriorated rubber?)

I'll take some pics of the 2 mules we are taking to Yorke island to get around. They went up today with the landing barge, the rest of us will join them by water taxi Friday. Sure will beat carrying everything up that hill to the battery!

Harry, do tell us more of what your doing, sounds interesting!
Landing craft with Mule exit, then hill climbing with a load, well can't wait to see the pictures! What type of mule (model) are they and where did you get them from, and how much work did it need to get them to where you have them now? Are you part of the parks service in BC? and are the mules in the parks service or privately owned? so many questions.
