Further to my last, I feel that I must add that my commentary and opinion of carrier value is just that; an opinion.
To those of you who choose to email me personally attacking my opinion because you feel that I am in some way hampering a sale etc, please be advised that I did not realize that I am all powerful in the world of MV appraisals and that I have any kind of influence.. Simply put, I have been in the game for a number of years, have owned many carriers from parts and pieces to complete units. iMany of the carriers that you guys own and have restored, I have probably had a hand in in some way or form. I have helped out a great many collectors here with bits and pieces. Here in Canada, you would be hard pressed to find anyone wanting to pay huge amounts for a toy. Thats the truth, long and short. Yes there are those who have deep pockets and will pay anything just to have but that does not begin ![]() The European market is definately different, as is the US market for MVs.
