I thought that all Austrian Cab 12 had those braces to hold the roofs on at high speed. in the Southern Hemisphere they have enough open space to get a Cab 12 up to it's terminal velocity. First time my Cab 12 hit 50 mph (on the car hauler coming home) the roof pealed back from the windshield. Did that happen to you too when hauling one home?

I do want add that the truck is a true find, glad to hear you guys will keep an eye on it to be sure it doesn't slip away.

Mine has managed to avoid them and didn't fall apart when being transported, albeit under slow tow. Oh yes, we're in Australia not Austria, LOL.

Only reason the roofs peal back up here is tacks that hold the roof to wood have rusted away and the wood has rotted away.

Looking at the pictures in the link for your F60L is that a bullet hole coming out the back of the headlight?

Also after 18:00 hours GMT the my spelling is likely to be impaired. Sun has fallen below the yardarm and the cocktail hour has begun.

are you game to take the 12 cab home yet or are you restoring it where it is?
the Ganmain claim for cab 12's has a little way to go yet but they better be careful that Andrew from Dubbo doesn't out do them.

If you dare to take a photo of me (Kathy) in a blitz I will tell on you . I told that Grant not to put that photo on as you would see it.

Gues what the temp has just gone up to today, it is now 6.8 after being only 4.9 at 1pm.

Yes it is indeed and was caused by some &@(#$&^ kids using it for target practice. That is also why one of the windscreens is gone.
Both headlights have suffered the same treatment.

And no... not enough blitz points here yet to do that. Also Chris' F15 is going first - that will be getting the finishing touches here soon as Euan's brother Stuart is bringing the sunshine roof parts here in a couple of weeks so they can be duplicated along with the rear cab curtain.

The spring bumper has been removed and the bumper was bent (along with the bullet holes) and the piece of wood has lost it's integrity which is why someone has attempted to fix it from the inside. Oh, and it has only 4,500 miles since new which means the mechanicals will probably need more running in!
There's a tiny amount of rust in the doors as well. Originally it seems it had a machinery workshop which of course has long gone, AND the engine has had water in it.
