2842132593
2842132608

I also have 28421M40750 ENGINE # PR3,835,432 [MELBOURNE-ASSEMBLED] but am not sure if that is a correct transcription?

Note also in the previous posting that some engines had WR and PR prefixes. 1942 'PR' engines tended to be C60S and C60L units, and 1942 'WR' engines the rest, on further study. I have long suspected that the prefix letter indicates modifications, but if anyone can confirm I shall be vey interested.

David - thank you for all the data, I can now provide some provenance to this vehicle.

Keefy - yes I am aware it is SR, I just copied and pasted without modifying, lazy me. Looking forward to the footage.

I don't think so... I've never had any trouble like that in all the time I've been a member.
