Terry is the cargo box original ? Or is this off something else >?

This looks like an F60 series truck, are those 20 " tires and rims ?

The rear bumpers look odd also ?

It is the cargo box off an M135 2.5 ton truck. Gordon Yeo also has one on his C15A. I saw it last year on his truck, and it really looks the part, especially when one removes the diagonal bars.

Default About your canadian truck

Hello

I have seen the wheels with tires which dimension seems to be 1050 X 16
So I think that your truck is a FORD CANADA F22.
These trucks , builded at the end of the war , were intended to be used as artillery tractor. They used some parts of FORD CANADA F60L. The radiator should be oversized and a little portion of sphere was often over the hood.
I join a pic of F22 seen in NORMANDY il 1994 with a 1C2 body.

regards Serge

there is no such thing as an F60A truck. This is one of the smaller trucks with 20inch wheels fitted. The rear bumpers look like GMC-CCKW ones and the rear deck does look odd as though it is a highly modified replacement.

Default My humble opinion.....

....after looking closely at the various pictures..... here is was I concluded....

It is most likely a standard Ford F15a.... did not see bump on hood...

It has been rather well fitted with a 2 1/2 ton Deuce box cut to fit....

The rear bumperettes and pintle tow hook are from the same above truck...

Someone has installed 20 inch rims..... the break drum and rear axle are for the smaller F15a rims...... too much clearance between drum and rim....

someone also installed a 2 speed T-case.... no big sin and more pullingpower when needed.

By today's standard a very complete truck to be enjoyed as is or fully restored...... owner's choice... it's "HIS" truck......

Very complete interior...... seems to have another lever on the side of the dog house engine cover on the passenger side..... possibly to operate the two speed t-case if the proper T-case tower was never installed.

Terry you have a very nice truck...... enjoy it......and make sure you document everything with thousands of photograph to be enjoyed later when you forget where things fit.

My 5 cents worth.... 4.05 cents US

Boob
