Default Playing in the Arena at War & Peace 2010

Hello Guys,

My daughter's boyfriend posted this little clip on YouTube. We are assembling in the Arena for "The Convoy of Steel" drive through the camp. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X5rXGQJm7UQ

I apologise for not wearing my BD but needed that later that evening for the 40's Dance party and dust free

Cheers,

Marc

Driving in someone elses dust is never much fun, especially as a carrier driver. Your head right in the middle of the airstream.

Video was great. Plus I love that sound/whine these things make.

Fantastic!!
I know that feeling, sound well..
It takes till next war and peace show to clean the dust off.

Marc, it was nice to meet. Its better to play in the remote camping field in the evenings.

Default W & p

Richard

You don't know what your missing until you've been around that arena.

It's ever dust or mud.

Both will take years to get off a carrier, but it's a fantastic experance.

We need to all decided to have a carrier year at W& P and all gather there.

that would be pretty cool, tell you what would be fantastic but a total pipe dream i might add........ carrier display team at the edinburgh tatoo a full section of carriers flying about the arena flying huge flags off the engine decks (British, Canadian, Australian, Newzealand, etc etc) doing a display along the lines of the red arrows (much simpler routine of course) hahahaha

then finish off with a reinactment of Havildar Parkash Singh's rescue which earned him his VC when his fellow soldiers came under heavy fire and he drove his carrier into a hail of bullets to save them.......then returned for the carriers (on his own)

not that i have given this much thought at all

Hi Barry,

It was nice meeting you too.
The Carrier and the Dingo were cleaned in a day. It's just loose dust. In 2007 it was an entirely different story.....

Cheers,
Marc
