WD Numbers, CAR, CFR
Just a quick question - when did War Department numbers first become applied to Canadian Army vehicles? 1939?
When did the WD number stop being used and what was it replaced by? Would I be correct in assuming 1954, and replaced by the Canadian Army Registration (CAR)? The CAR was replaced by the CFR (Canadian Forces Registration) in 1968?
