Just picked up an M416 trailer today that has been languishing in a pasture for several years. The owner actually was willing to give it to me for free, but I felt I should pay him something for it so I gave him $50. This trailer will be going to a good purpose. I parade quite often with the American Legion and the Viet Nam Vets Assoc. in Denton, Tx. They have been looking for a Viet Nam era trailer to convert to a caisson to transport the coffins of deceased vets behind an M151 to their final resting place. I figured there is no higher purpose for this trailer than that. I'll keep y'all updated on our progress as we convert this trailer.
