the Brendan OīCarollīs book The Kiwi Scorpions shows many interesting pictures of TRDG vehicles. Here are the chevy 1533x2 numbers which I was able to read:

L 4618835
L 4618845 or L4615845
L 4518950
L 4618921
L 4618825

The L 4518950 is mentioned as Breda 20mm gun truck. it is also mentioned that the Breda replaced the less effective 37mm Bofors, but it is not clear if it happened on this particular truck or generally.

By the way, on the page 44 you might also find a picture shown below mentioned as a White truck of Heavy Section (of LRDG). I am sure it is Mack NM.Note also that the stencils on the bonnet are white, not black, it means the vehicle is probably not painted desert sand. Any comments?

Happy searching, Jan.

Thumbs up

But of course, Cliff, you are right, I should read my messages three times before sending it off.

Happy searching, Jan.

@ Jan; the BOFORS has been exchanged against the BREDA in general - not only on this particular truck mentioned above.
