UN Ferret

I recently got this picture from an old friend. He is saluting in the turret. Captain Folke Schippel in UN service, Sinai, approx late 1960-ies.

But what type of armoured car? Ferret I beleive, but which nation provided armoured cars for the UN forces in Sinai.

Do I remember right when thinking that UN left Sinai in 1967?
