			Hi everyone

I just picked up a field telephone at my local militaria/gun show the other day. The plate inside says that its a Telephone Set D.Mk V. It was made by P.E.W. Ltd in 1943. Serial # 11880 The handset is marked "Tele. HD. No2 Canadian" The strap for it is marked "P.E.W. Ltd 1942" and has a very stylized "C" broad arrow. My main question is what are the 2 web loops and buckle for on the strap? I can't find anything in my books baout the CDN telephones or this particualr strap.
