Default Syria 1941

I found this photo amongst some of my father's old wartime photo albums. It is captioned "A French grave beside the main road to Damascus, Syria 1941.

Of interest is the 12 cab C60L on the road. I have enhanced the scan and I think the number on the door may be 4412741 or 4412761.

Dad served as an electrician with a mobile laundry unit in the 7th Division, 2nd AIF (Australian Imperial Force)

Cheers
Rod
