Hi
Sadly, my Dad passed away on 2 January 2024 in his 89th year after a long period of ailing health. Sad but also thankful. ![]() Dad joined the RCAF in 1952 as a Microwave Communications Tech and retired from the CAF in 1991 as a CWO in the Communications Branch. He was admitted as a Member to the Order of Military Merit, earned the Queen's Silver Jubilee Medal, the Special Service Medal w/ bars Alert & NATO, and a Canadian Forces Decoration with 2 clasps. He was immensely proud of his service and after growing up in a military family following him around to a new posting every 3-4 years, then joining up myself and doing the same thing to my own family, I am too. kind regards Darrell
