Tailgate hooks
Im just wondering if the tailgate hooks should be flat/straight or not? Mine appear to be rather bent up from years of abuse.

Before you rush to straighten the latch, check whether the new length when straightened (longer) will still fit between the pivot bolt hole and the latch plate. If something else is distorted, the curved arm may fit better than a straight one (unless you want to cure the other distortion as well).

I thought about that Grant. My picture doesn't show it too well but they are more curved out when looking down from the top.
