Yes I believe it's the earlier one, NOS ones are available at Dirk Leegwaters place, www.lwdparts.com

Thanks richard. The glass and rim are missing/damaged so i may end up buying one from dirk, unless some one has a spare there willing to sell?

Brian (BCA) has the amp meter with clamp CO1UC 10850 listed in his catalog.

Those meters are Ford commercial ones from tractors. The terminal posts on the back if the tractor ones are horizontal. True carrier ones have the posts top and bottom to account for the angle on the dashboard.
