This is a photo of a rebuild, to 17-pounder Tractor. I would imagine that the Imperial War Museum, London would have some official photographs in their Library.

Your photo is of a C8 4x4, our friend Attilio was asking about the CS8. I have a few pictures in one of Mike Conniford's Military Vehicle Pamphlets on the CS8 and C4. They were a basic GS 15cwt body with spring tow bar on rear and a hand winch to load the gun.

Richard, thanks..I am confusing the C8/AT 2-pounder Portee as with the S/M 2028 Chevrolets with the CS8 15-cwt. 4 x 2 Portee. Apologies and thanks fotr the lesson...never knew that there was a CS8 Portee!
