Default Canadian 2pr Anti-Tank Gun Carriages

I have seen a number of references to Canadian production of the 2pr anti-tank gun and carriage on the web. A few of these have mentioned a split trail carriage similar to that used by the 6pr but adapted for the 2pr. One correspondent says that the carriage was designated the Mark IV and another suggests that this was an interim arrangement in which 2pr guns were mounted on early 6pr carriages during the changeover from 2pr to 6pr production.

None of these mentions any source for this information and there appears to be some confusion amongst the correspondents. Can anyone quote or suggest a published source of information or anything accessible on the Internet on these combinations of gun and carriage? Similarly, can anyone provide a photograph or link to one?

With best wishes,

Gordon McLaughlin
