Looking for manual or excerpt for T16 rear axle overhaul

As the title says, I'm looking for information on the T16's rear axle. My Mk1 has a T16 rear axle, and only the steering brakes are connected. I'd like to pull it out and clean it up before connecting the stopping brakes, but I can't find any information, and of course my BGC manuals don't have the information I'm looking for. Can anyone help?
