Default Fate of the MLVWs

This week I went to 25CFSD Montreal to pick up a pick of equipment that I won on auction and while I was there I inquired about future sales of MLVWs and I was told in a kind of secret hush that a lot of the MLs are being sent directly to the scrap yard where they are being stripped/cut up. So if I read this right if you have an ML hang on to it because they will be a very rare vehicle to find in the next couple years. It seems that DND is handling the licensing issue by sending the trucks for scrap. Pity to see these trucks going in that direction. Gilles

Pretty inevitable answer to the problem for the bureaucrats, buries the issue and clears the decks and gets a hot potato off of a lot of peoples desks.

I was really surprised after the Iltis sales that MLs even came out.

As you say, makes any that did come out more valuable, but only if you want one badly enough.
