Service Publications BBQ
SP will be hosting a barbeque on the Victoria long weekend, May 22, 2011 as a thank you to clients, vendors, authors, editor, contributors and general hangers-on. This will be at my home at 55 Abingdon Drive, Ottawa, ON, 613-820-7350. Rain date is Monday May 23.
I will lay on food and entertaiment. Alhough I will supply beer, wine and mix I encourage particiants to bring some of their own spirits to ensure a sufficient supply. Significant others and kids are welcomed and encouraged. No reenactor uniforms required but military vehicles would add to the festivities. Start time is 1500hrs. Please RSVP to clive@servicepub.com

I've been known to travel far and do much for a BBQ and a few beer. Thanks for the invitation, but it's not likely that I'll get there for your event. f

Hi Clive
Sadly I will pass on the invitation due to other pressing business....monkey business that will take far out of town....imagine missing out on a BBQ and free beer. Truth be known... my dear wife and I will be leaving Saturday, crack of dawn, of that long weekend for a photo shoot at Grand Manan Island just off the coast of New Brunswick. But I am leaving with my trailer in tow to recover the Cab 12 that Mike McKinley so gracefully sold me to add to my collection ( not hoarding your understand)...... after all we have to drive by his place to reach the island. Now how many other wives would go along with that kind of a week long trip for me to get another "Mawsheen" ........ I am hopeful to hoist a few liquid yellow brews with Wild Bill, Craig and maybe Army Buck if they can join us at Mike's place for the loading on Sunday of the long weekend. Wife says she is looking forward to driving the truck and the trailer loaded behing it. Pictures will follow as usual. Bob C. ....riding Shot gun....Joyce.

Hammond barn BBQ cancelled.....
Alex..... please note the Hammond BBQ has been cancelled.....too many events in a short time span and our original June date conflicted with the OMVA Oshawa flea market ......
