I was talking to a guy last night about Canadian Dodges and he told me that in the early 1950's he bought eight D15's and at least two D60's as surplus, the D15's were sold on but he kept the D60's,one he broke up (I've just bought the cab parts he had left) and the other which was a tipper he says he sold to a museum in Holland. he says it still had it's original paintwork and markings.
I was just wondering if anyone can confirm if the truck still exists and if so which museum is it in?? I'm still trying to build up a list of known D15 and D60 survivors,so far it comes to 9 D15's and about the same for D60's (that's worldwide) but if anyone knows of more I'd like to hear from them. model code, chassis and engine numbers would also be of great help, pictures even better! Cheers! Matt PS Geoff how about a Dodge section on the MLU page?,I know they aren't CMP's but they were made in Canada for the allies. |
