Exclamation Western Victoria Clearing Sale

One for the SAustralian border raiders!
Lots of highly collectable Australiana and historic stuff, including tractors & machinery. Of particular interest there is what appears to be an excellent & complete Centurian, a Carrier, set of carrier tracks, two Chev Blitz's including a desirable C15, some spare axles to siut, at least one Meteor motor, a couple of Jet engines... I was going to go 'just for a look, Honey', but is around 10 hours drive each way. Just a bit too far.
So, who's going to go & report back??

Default Sale at Redhill

Oh I think quite a few MLU-ers with carrier 444 up for grabs.

I won't be going but as Howard said we will welcome reports in due course.

This coming from a Ford fanatic? Has the world gone mad???? For Howard to use the words "Chev" and "desirable" in the same sentence is quite amazing. Perhaps H has finally come out of the closet.

Maybe I should have written ...two Chev Blitz's including a C15 that may or may not be desirable to those that may or may not particularly care about their social standing...

But in all seriousness I wouldn't mind a couple of F15's and/or c15's (or one of each) for the boys.
Not for me, but... Honest!

Default clearing sale

I'll be there, always like a good clearing sale ( was at one today ) but I'm under no illusion that I'll be bringing anything home. Far too many eyes on this sale and prices will be high. Well that's my opinion anyway.
Hey some fool paid $290 today for an old cast iron hand trolley. And anyone who follows AFL may like to know that Brad Ottens was at the sale too ( He plays for Geelong ) and he bought a grey fergie tractor!

As for Red Hill, would love the Bren carrier or the Centurion but I'll be happy with just the pics.
....maybe the manuals too.

Default scratch that

Now unable to go.
Have I ever told you how much I hate local government councils? But that's another story.
So the report and pics will need to come from another MLUer.

Anyone else going???

Default Red Hill Sale.

The owners of this Museum are my cousins, and I have attended most of there open days. On these days they have had most of the engines, tractors and vehicles running. The Centurion, Bren carrier, and Stuart were always taken for a run around the paddock. If anyone wants any info on any of the items listed send me a PM.
