Hello,

We are a group re-enactors in holland and we use the 25 pounder also for blank firing, the shells we use are the original shells and it works verry good.
But they are getting hard to find here as well. i can look for you.
We re-enact the Royal Canadian Artillery of the 1e Canadian Division.

Default 25 Pdr cartridge cases

Many Thanks for your reply Paul:
It is interesting to note that you do reenactments of the RCA 1st Division.
I am a WW II veteran of the 23rd Self Propelled field Artillery, RCA of the 4th Canadian Armoured Division.
We landed in Normandy and fought through France,Belgium,Holland & Germany.
So I have a few Dutch acquaintences who I correspond with. So it is very good to hear from you.
Yes! by all means let us work together and we should be able to help one another.
Ifyou wish to contact me further would you please contact me on my "e"mail address.
Many Thanks again Paul

Hi

The 62 Field Artillery Regiment in Dublin Ireland was using 25-pounders as of last November and could be a source for you.

I do not pass out email addresses but if you wish to send me an email off-line, then I will pass it on to my contact in the regiment. He will probably reply.

Doug
