Default photos

Have also included a couple of photos of carriers in service with the New Zealand forces serving in Italy, showing the patterns and markings our carrier will be finished in.

Ross has another plate with a number only a few before ours, that makes at least 3 from that contract here. Will get some headlight photo's & measurements this weekend. Any other NZ Mk1's with similar numbers out there?

Default Here in Gisborne,

we have T80068, which is in the same batch as Dave's 3" mortar carrier.

Progress on your carrier is impressive guys. Looking forward to seeing it mobile.

Rob

Default Some Carrier Numbers

I have carrier T84089, plus brass plaque T83601, there’s a guy just out of Christchurch with carrier T83622. All three (3” Mortar Carriers) come from the same contract. He also has a brass plaque with T80900.
It would seem a number of the English Carriers that came to NZ are from one of three contracts.
I'd like to attach some images but I don't understand (please enter the URL of your image) what do I need to do, can anyone help.

Regards, Brian

I like the way both these carriers have been 'field-fitted'...

BTW, what's the machine gun mounted on the rear of the first carrier? Haven't had my coffee yet, which means the circuitry between my eyes and brain is malfunctioning...
