If memory serves the Queens Own Rifle's from Toronto used a similar symbol. It was a red club on a white circle.
Congrats on the purchase. However, for future ref, you had best realize the following e-bay terminology: "All original and 100% there" = means that whatever is there is whatever is there and that everything there is what was there when the photos were taken. You may or may not get all of it. "Listing for a seller who is not on ebay (or computer savvy or some other excuse)" = I won't feel liable for whatever happens to the buyer and your on your own. Doesn't matter if I have 100% feedback, satisfaction on your part will not be my concern. "I don't know much about these vehicles so the buyer must make an informed decision" = BUYER BEWARE "Great condition for it's age" = rustbucket; likely beyond salvage. I have been burned twice on ebay when the seller was not the seller, but rather a middleman. Seems like the real seller feels there is nothing wrong with selling off portions of the item before the auction ends and shortchanging you. I actually had one start renegotiating the price with me on a lot of military stuff because he was expecting a lot more. Then, when I was shortchanged a bunch of stuff, and repeatedly complained, most of it was magically found and he even overcharged me to ship the balance to me. Anyway, sorry to be hijacking this thread so I can vent. Last edited by rob love; 12-06-08 at 04:14. |
