QUOTE , All the photos I have of this wireless type truck show them all fitted with normal steel doors. This one was fitted with canvas doors.
This truck is a bitza , the cab is off a late model 4x4 Blitz fitted to a C15 wireless van and the dash plate is off a C60X . In the picture attached you will see a very crude attempt to marry the cab which has the back cut away to the body of the wireless van. As you would be aware the chassis on a C15 is narrower at the front than the 4 wheel drive so the side cab mounts do not match up . The vehicle is a parts truck only . Regards Jim S.

I am restoring/repairing my C15 Wireless van for Lang's trip and am using the parts truck to help out with bits and pieces where ever they can be used .

The C60X dash plate was from a RAAF refueller. Of course the sigvan was built in both a C15 (WO73) and C15A (WO12) version with the standard cab - be interesting to compare to see how the factory did it.

Probably by having the side cab mounts iether wider or narrower apart to suit the chassis used . The interior wheel arches are different on the C15 most likely to allow for the sharper turning radius which is why the chassis narrows at the front . I read in the Holden book that GMH made 3 different cabs for CMP's , 4x4 , 2 wheel drive , 6x6. Regards Jim S.
