Hello Mike: I hear you need some clams. Albert and I used 10 gauge in the arbor press with a hollow bottom die ( pipe). Top die has a convex radius-form to shape (2 templates X & Y co-ordinates) cut to fit & weld. It is necessary to take the bend out a bit on the end of the channel to gain a little more depth-see pic. Roll the edges cold over a 2 or 3 inch round slug of steel welded to something solid. Let me know if u need the templates.We built 2 of these bolted knockdown carriers. Will send pictures when I figure out how to do it again.
