Paul its hard to tell its a Ford F15A if that helps ? where i expect the nut to be is a mess of rust i have tried scraping all the rust out but havent had much sucess .

Hi James,
Here is a breakdown of the steering arrangement. Looks like just the nut and a key and keyway for the wheel. Dremel tool to cut the nut? cheers Mike in Windsor.....it's sunny today ![]() |

It is held by a nut on a spline and keyway. As Mike suggested cut the remains of the nut off using a dremel or similar being careful not to damage the thread at the top of the steering shaft then belt sh*t out of it with a block of wood and a big hammer.
