Default Saturday - An Interesting Day at the Barn

As per usual, I arrived at the barn early and went to work to dispel the myth that US tires cannot properly fit Brit rims. Well, they fit beautifully. I added a flap this morning, then a little soapy water to lube up the rubber. The split rims went in snugly without too much of a fight. Keep in mind it was -3oC with a wind chill of -6oC. After inflating to 50 pounds, there was no real gap to speak of and the tire looked right at home. Bob ambled by later in the morning and was so taken with the tire, that he wore a SEG all morning.
